Model the process before students work with partners. Provide sentence frames such as “I think the answer is ___ because ___.” or “This question is asking ___.” Provide a chart where students can record simple takeaways from each round. |

Encourage students to explain why an answer is correct or incorrect using complete sentences. Have students record a short reflection at the end of the activity explaining what they learned. |
