Encourage students to explain why key words, visuals, or examples are important to the concept. Provide a checklist to help students review clarity and completeness of their recording. |
High Intermediate

Ask students to add a reflection or opinion such as “One interesting thing I noticed is ___ because ___.” Encourage students to connect their ideas to other concepts or experiences. |
Advanced
|
Challenge students to evaluate how their thinking changed, explain the significance of the concept, and communicate their ideas clearly using precise academic language and detailed reasoning. |
