Is your 4th grade science instruction setting students up for 5th grade success?
Since many 4th grade standards are assessed on the Grade 5 STAAR Elementary Science Assessment, it’s critical that students begin building strong conceptual foundations early.

What is the science 3D ePLC for grade 4?

The grade 4 science 3D ePLC is designed to help teachers confidently implement the 3D framework by deepening their knowledge of Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs), Recurring Themes and Concepts (RTCs), and meaningful content integration.

We have intentionally aligned 4th grade instruction with STAAR-assessed standards to ensure vertical coherence and early readiness. By supporting the development of students’ scientific thinking and modeling skills, the ePLC helps build strong conceptual foundations so that students enter 5th grade with connected, durable science knowledge that goes beyond memorization to true understanding.
