Provide 2-3 possible answers for the student to choose from if they feel stuck. Simplify the phrasing of questions for easier comprehension such as “What is one thing you know about ?” |
Advanced
|
Allow the student to discuss ideas briefly with a partner or group before sharing them aloud. Encourage the student to elaborate on their ideas using prompts such as “Explain why ” or “What do you think will happen if ?” |
Advanced High
|
Challenge the student to use academic vocabulary related to the topic in their response. Encourage the student to justify their answer with evidence or reasoning such as “I believe because .” |
