Social Studies enthusiast, Jodi Denton, M.Ed., serves as lead4ward’s Executive Director of Content and Instruction. Leveraging on her experience leading Social Studies at lead4ward since its inception, Jodi leads the team and vision driving content and instruction for the organization. With 25+ years in education, she empowers teachers, instructional support teams, and administrators to meet the increasingly complex requirements for student success bringing diverse knowledge, high energy, and a fresh approach to developing and implementing innovative instructional practices.

Jodi epitomizes the dedication and innovation that lead4ward is known for and has proudly been on the team since 2011. Prior to joining lead4ward, she served as a Social Studies Specialist at Education Service Center Region 13, a Teaching American History Grant Manager, and a secondary classroom teacher. In 2022, the Texas State Bar Association awarded Jodi the Honorary Leon Jaworski Award for Teaching Excellence in Law Focused Education. She has also been published in The Teacher Educator, authored online courses, and regularly presents at Texas Social Studies Leaders Association (TSSLA) conferences.
