She encourages every teacher and student she works with to approach mathematics with a curious mind.
Mimi is a mathematics education specialist with over 20 years of experience supporting teachers, instructional leaders, and students across Texas. She holds a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Texas State University and has served in a range of roles throughout her career, including classroom teacher, intervention teacher, instructional coach, and mathematics coordinator. She has presented at several conferences including CAMT (Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching).
