Sandy Lucero manages our free resources, participates in the development of new resources, and provides leadership on special projects. Believing that “more” does not necessarily mean “better,” she is driven to synthesize and distill what is essential to create tools for teachers and leaders that are clear, useful, and up-to-date.

Although Sandy’s degree is in Education, she started her professional career in the sales department of a writing and presentations skills training company. She quickly saw how the company’s own communications impacted their win/loss ratio in gaining new business and asked to be part of the process-improvement team. The thread of “making things better” can be seen throughout her career as executive assistant, salesperson, volunteer coordinator, cabinet maker (yes, really), and designer. Sandy is motivated by kindness, humor, and excellence, and she is a great addition to our team.
