Kim O’Neal is passionate about supporting math educators. With over 20 years of experience, Kim equips interventionists, teachers, and specialists to implement best practices, plan intentional and aligned lessons, understand their data, and develop differentiated plans of support. She empathizes with the needs of campuses of diverse and rapidly changing populations and enjoys creating content that promotes creativity and innovative classroom practices.

 

Prior to joining the lead4ward math team, Kim was a trainer for the Math Academies through Region 4 ESC’s partnership with TEA. Kim has also served as an Elementary Math Program Coordinator, a Math Content Instructional Specialist, a middle school teacher, and an elementary teacher. Additionally, she has presented at local and regional math conferences and served on the CAMT (Conference of the Advancement of Math Teachers) committee as a member and Program Chair.
